All year round, Monday to Sunday 0.00 a.m. to midnight. The main East Gate, Auf der Brandshofer Schleuse 4, can be used day and night for entry and exit.

Market trading hours — when can I do business in the wholesale market?
Trading in the fruit and vegetable hall is from 2.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. from Monday to Saturday, and in the producers’ area from 3.00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m. The wholesale flower market is open for buyers from 3.00 to 8.00 a.m. from Monday to Saturday. Market ID — What do I need to enable me to buy on the wholesale market?
Commercial resellers, commercial consumers and large-scale professional consumers are entitled to buy. Final consumers are not permitted to buy here. You need a specialist trading licence, VAT book, itinerant trade licence or other trade certificate as well as a photo of the future ID holder.

Directions — what’s the best way to get to the wholesale market site?
The wholesale market is located near the city centre in Hammerbrook and lies between Oberhafen and Amsinckstraße. It can be reached via the A 1/A 255 (via Elbbrücken).
The main East Gate is open day and night. You can reach it via the street named Auf der Brandshofer Schleuse 4. You can reach the West Gate via Banksstraße/at the corner of Lippeltstraße. It is open on weekdays from 0.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and on Saturdays from 2.00 a.m to 10.00 a.m..

ID Office opening hours — When and where can I apply for a market or parking ID?
Monday to Friday 7.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. The ID office is located in Room 112 on the 1st floor of the wholesale market hall (staircase 1, South façade).

Range of products — what goods are offered on the wholesale market?
A comprehensive range of fresh products (no meat and no fish), fresh produce grown locally, controlled bioproducts from domestic producers, imports from all corners of the world, restaurant requirements and decorative articles, flowers and plants, other supplies such as spices, luxury food, tobacco, etc. and various service facilities.
