A fresh look for the website

Compacter, even more informative - at the start of April 2013 the North’s fresh produce centre relaunched its website with a fresh new look but familiar address: www.grossmarkt-hamburg.de.

Torsten Berens, managing director of the Wholesale Market for Fruit, Vegetables and Flowers is delighted with the new look: “Registering around 90,000 page views per month, our website is the most frequented wholesale market website in Germany. International visitors account for a third of the traffic. To satisfy the growing demand of users for more information and communication, we have embarked on a ‘modest relaunch’ that gives our site a fresher look.”

The graphic design of the website has been revamped to give greater visual impact to the messages the fresh produce centre wants to communicate. The contents have also expanded but are now more tightly concentrated under separate headings. The result is a lively, compact portrait of the “Wholesale Market Brand”, its resident firms, its activities and its national and international networks. There is also an English version of the whole website.
